INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 oz Milk of your choice

  • 1/2 tsp organic matcha powder

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 2 oz hot water

You’ll also need a bamboo whisk, a small bowl and a highball glass

TO MAKE:

  • Whisk 1 teaspoon of Matcha Green Tea with 2 oz of hot (but not boiling) water to make a green tea shot.

  • Once the matcha green tea powder and water are completely blended, add the honey and whisk again thoroughly until the honey completely dissolves.

  • Pour milk over over ice, in a tall glass.

  • Pour the matcha shot and the honey mixture into the glass of milk.

  • Stir well and enjoy!

Note: If you want a little sweetness in your matcha latte with your sweetener of choice, you can swap the honey for a sweetener like maple syrup, white sugar, brown sugar, coconut sugar, agave or a sugar substitute like stevia.

To make it a vanilla Iced matcha Latte, simply add a few drops of vanilla extract to your drink.
